Twenty-fifth anniversary of the commissioning of the International Space Station

The Russian cargo spacecraft Progress MS-25 arrives at the International Space Station (ISS).On December 3, the Progress MS-25 cargo spacecraft suffered a calibration failure during its automatic docking to the station, and was eventually manually guided by Russian cosmonauts to complete the docking. The cargo spacecraft carried 2.5 tons of supplies, mainly drinking water and food for the cosmonauts. The ISS celebrated its 25th anniversary on Dec. 6, and to date, 273 astronauts from 21 countries have visited the station, completing more than 3,300 space experiments.
