Thailand celebrates Water Lantern Festival

Thai people celebrate [Loy Krathong] (LoyKratong), Chiang Mai. November 27, Thailand ushered in the traditional Buddhist festival [Loy Krathong], during which local people put lotus-shaped water lanterns into rivers to pray for blessings. The Thai government released data showing GDP growth of 1.5% in the third quarter of 2023, which is lower than the market expectation, mainly affected by the weak exports, and the full-year GDP growth is expected to be 2.5%, which is 0.3 percentage point lower than the previous estimate.
